Beer Diary

Tonight it's St. Lawrence Brewing Co. 'S'S Skinny Dipper India Pale Ale. I bought this beer in my home town of Governuer while on vacation.  7.9%Alcohol.

  And pretty dam hoppy.
Curtis tasted it first and  said... "tastes like fresh paint", and that made me laugh.
So i pour myself a glass...

Nice head ... And then  I taste it...
Wooooo... that is hoppy for sure!
Talk about funky breath the morning! Whoa!
With that being said, i still like it. It's a goodgood beer. Not at the top of my list or anything, but definitely drinkable.

I have two more St. Lawrence brews to review... see you next time.

Beer Diary,

Well today I'm finishing off a six pack of DuClaw's Dirty Little Freak. I bought it at a little gas station in North Carolina on my way home from vacation.
This beer claims there is "No safe word"  and I agree.  It's a coconut chocolate brown ale with a kick.
When you drink this it's like being slapped in the mouth with melted Mounds candy bars, over and over again.  Tonce that dark chocolate flavor begins to fade it leaves a tiny little hint of forceful caramalized malt and hops behind in your mouth. Mmm. Dirty.

Beer Diary,

Beer Diary,
Today I'm enjoying a lovely beer. Samuel Adams Cherry Wheat.

A nice light and crisply refreshing ale with a delicious hint of ripe cherries.
We bought the beer at the Total Wine store in Viera for a pretty reasonable price.

Beer Diary,

I've decided to keep a little beer diary here on my trusty little Google blog.

I love beer. In the last couple of years I have been drinking different kinds of beers testing and treating. Yum. Beer.

Anyway... today I am testing out a beer that I bought at ABC from their growler program. I like this idea... keg beer... on tap... in a 32 oz. Reusable bottle.
So.... today's beer is from Engine 15 called 15 Nut Sack imperial brown ale.
This beer is pretty good. Its a nice dark beer, not too hoppy. I'm not much of a fan of the sharpness of IPAs.

This beer is thick, smooth and dark... sort of like Neil Degrass Tyson being rolled around in my mouth.
Time for another glass...
